This Website is not managed by the Building Management or the Body Corporate . Over the past 5 years we have attempted to have a community information portal for all owners as well as tenants. as we are all residents in the Grand Mariner.

NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH – ALWAYS BE VIGILANT – SEPTEMBER 26, 2016.
Our neighbourhood watch local co-ordinator needs to be complimented on a job well done. Here is the latest scoop that we all need to be aware of.
A resident of Atlantis contacted me this evening re an event at their apartments this morning and so I called their Security Advisor to get the scoop. This morning at about 5:45am, 3 men were involved in an incident at Atlantis Apartments..…one gained entry into their west carpark following a resident’s vehicle who was coming in…..….….…their Security was advised by that resident……he was apprehended and found with box cutters……he had tried to get away but tripped and their Security staff detained him…..…the other two had driven up to the main entrance area.
The offender from the garage area was taken into Police custody..…(offender sitting on pavement in photo)….…the other two took off in the vehicle….….…..keep your eyes open for a late model Red Hyundai 701SBE.
If you have a security system at your home….use it……gates at your drive, ensure they are closed …….windows locked………consider additional lighting if required. Consider security cameras……. And if you see something…..please say something. And a huge thank you for the cooperation with Atlantis Apartment residents and their ASL Security team.

Without any prior notice or discussions during the owners forums and the absence of any mention or formal record of any discussions of any such motion during minutes of meetings, owners feel that the committee may have a hidden agenda. NEW CAR PARK RULES – WHAT DO THEY MEAN ?- SEPTEMBER 2016
The new laws proposed mention the storage of Motor Vehicles, what they don’t mention is the definition of Motor Vehicles. The legal definition should be defined in the new By-Laws. The Legal Definition of Motor Vehicles is
“Property with a serial number and wheels that are built to be towed at more than 10 km/h will still be a motor vehicle. Examples include caravans and trailers “.
So why does the new by-laws not define motor vehicles ??. They new By-Laws need some work.. Read More….
NOTE TO AL OWNERS & RESIDENTS MAKING COMMENTS – SEPTEMBER 16, 2016.
I have received some emails today’s from some owners. Unfortunately I cannot publish letters that directly name or identify committee members that may or may not be the proponents of a particular By-law. Could you please rewrite your submissions and refrain from mentioning or naming committee members.
If on the other hand you can get that committee member to confirm that they support or are a proponent of a particular By-Law in writing, for which we can confirm, then we would happily publish those letters.
